LAPTECH QUALITY POLICY
LapTech Precision Inc. has adopted a philosophy of continuous improvement so that the Quality system will be a continuously evolving program and one, which is relevant to the company's organizational aims and goals, as well as meeting the needs and expectations of our customers.
Quality is the responsibility of every individual and sufficient training has been administrated to ensure policies are understood throughout the company. The attainment of these quality goals requires strong and responsive management and a united commitment from all of our employees. The company has the capabilities that enable it to produce quartz products in accordance with the requirements of MIL-C-3098H.
The responsibility for the creation, implementation and maintenance of the quality assurance program has been assigned by the President to the Quality Director who has the full support and encouragement in the implementation of the program.
Laptech ISO9001: 2015
Since 1997 Laptech Precision Inc has been fully compliant and certified to the International ISO9001:2015 standard. The company became the first crystal manufacturer in Canada to achieve this certification.
Through its own high quality manufacturing facility and qualified suppliers, the company provides precision quartz crystals and oscillators to customers worldwide together with QCM and material fabrication to specialist industries.
Quality control and product development are continuous processes through which the company supports customers and evolving markets.

ISO14001: 2004
Laptech Precision Inc is committed to the protection of the environment and biodiversity through its manufacturing and supply activities. An active environmental management programme exists within the company.
Associated programes for RoHS compliance, waste disposal, recycling, and REACH compliance support the ISO14001 programme.
RoHS/RoHS2
The Restriction of Hazardous Substance (RoHS) is a directive introduced by the European Union and has become European Law on 21 July 2011 and taken effect in EU Member States from 2 January 2013. The RoHS directive will effectively ban the use of certain substances in new electrical and electronic equipment products put onto the market.
The banned substances are lead (Pb), mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd), hexavalent chromium(CRVI) along with polybrominated biphenyl (PBB) or polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE). The final two substances are generally found in flame retardant materials..

REACH / SVHC
REACH is a European Union regulation concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals. REACH came into force by on 1st June 2007 and is aimed at businesses which manufacture, import, distribute, sell or use chemical substances, preparations or articles into the EU.
REACH covers most chemical substances manufactured in, or imported into the European Union (EU), in quantities of one tonne or more per calendar year.

CONFLICT FREE
At Laptech we take seriously public concern regarding the trade of conflict minerals originating from the Democratic Republic of Congo and similar regions which are helping finance conflict and human right abuses. We have issued this statement regarding the sourcing of material and in its supply chain.
